I am delighted to have completed both the HEA Fellowship and CMALT certifications. Despite some initial procrastination, these accomplishments represent significant milestones in my professional development, and I take great pride in them. Through the HEA Fellowship, I've honed my skills in self-reflection and learnt to underpin my practice with educational theory. This experience has sparked a desire to deepen my knowledge of educational theory, particularly in its application to educational technology for enhancing the learner experience. The CMALT certification process provided a valuable opportunity to gather evidence and critically examine my role as a learning technologist. It allowed me to reflect on the knowledge and skills I've acquired over the years. Both certifications have prompted extensive self-reflection on what it means to be a digital education specialist in today's rapidly evolving educational landscape.
